On February 14, 2026, Tesla ended the one-time FSD purchase option ($8,000). All new FSD access is now subscription-only at $99/month. FSD purchased before that date stays tied to the vehicle and transfers to the new owner — but only if the transfer window (open until March 31, 2026) has not closed.
